Again, maybe late to the party, but making the "Now Playing" bar also be the progress bar frees up a full line (or allows a larger font).

I'd disagree with that, if I understand what you're saying (making the progress bar say "now playing" and getting rid of the one at the top?). I think the now playing bar looks very classy, and should be kept if possible. I actually prefer this to having potentially larger album art, but I'm probably not the one to make the decision, since I don't even use the player we're discussing. All in all, I like the way zinc's screendump looks best. Having the time and track stuff above the progress bar makes all the text looked too cluttered together.

Also, just wanted to thank you guys for a great theme, I'm using the ipod video version and it's quite classy. I would have voted for keeping the track info order as Artist-Title-Album, but it looks like most people prefer it the other way anyway. It will be relatively easy to edit that order myself if I really want to, right?

As for the new font in the c200 version - have to take a look on the real display before giving critics but judged by the screenshots I'm sceptical...

pixelma: I tryed to pick the best font possible for the c200 theme and I think it really "flows" well. It looks big enough to be easily visible. Be sure to tell me what you think about it after trying it out on the actual device.

I'd like to get ready to commit the work in progress version of this theme so that more people get a chance to look at it.  Then as its refined we can update it.

Well, I think that the now playing bar and the progressbar should remain seperate so that the theme really "flows" because there will be two equal focal points on the screen that way.

saratoga: According to the wiki page (http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/DefaultWPS), all of the ports except the archos version (which pixelma will do tomorrow) have been renamed properly.

I think that the ipod video port, x5/h10 20gb, ipod nano, h10 5/6gb, ipod mini, ipod 1st-4th gen and the c200 ports are pretty much ready to go.

I agree. I just knocked up a quick rework and without re-arranging lots it does become visually unbalanced. The combined 'now playing' and progress bar is probably best saved for another theme.
