I think on the Gigabeat the Icons on the bottom are too large in comparison with the rest. On the iPod it looks more fitting because the progress bar is bigger. I really think they should be smaller

I think that the progessbar should be enlarged on the gigabeat version (same height as ipod video port). Actually, the gigabeat version has been unupdated for a while now   I'll try and take care of it soon.

The Gigabeat version is not the same size as the iPod Video port. One's 320x240, the other's 240x320

I'm working on the e200 version and it seems pretty messed up... I have to make the album art size from 120x120 to 100x100 in order for it all to fit and I'm now using new backgrounds and progressbar.

pixelma: Are you going to be doing the archos port? Will you make the vol9 icon so that we can do the renaming for it?

why? the graphics for the e200 are alright. I was the last one who worked on that port.
and it always worked with 120x120 album art...

Anyways, I'm pretty much finished with it using 110x110 album art and I updated a lot of it...

nothing out of the ordinary. you removed two lines when you renamed the files, that's all that went wrong. This is what it's supposed to look like.
I still don't get what's wrong with the background and the progress bar

Wow! I didn't realize that at all. From looking at that screenshot, the time remaining and track number are kind of squished with the icons. Here's what I came up with now. Tell me what you think.

not much room to breathe, but I think it was entirely OK as it was. Viewports will improve the situation. I'll rearrange everything on this one as soon as they are supported.

I think you're wasting a whole line with your new version.
And you progress bar isn't wide enough.

That's a good point... I'm going to make the album art 120x120 again and push the last line down to where it was before. And you can make the progressbar wider, right?

Very true! It will make it so much easier to position fields precisely without being tied to text appearing on 'preset lines'

Again, maybe late to the party, but making the "Now Playing" bar also be the progress bar frees up a full line (or allows a larger font).
