I get your point, there is definitely a need for a WPS that does what you said rockboxed is lacking in.

It'd be nice to hear if anyone is interested in working on this, just so we know if nobody is working on it and we should get back to arguing about the ones we currently have.

I'm doing it. And i'm sure there are a bunch of other people who are just too busy with their themes to reply ;).

The only complaint I can voice about the default theme is the font. Why so small. You can barely read the text. I am sure the first thing most do is install the font package and pick a larger one. there must be a reason for the teeny tiny default size so, why? 8-). Other than that, love it.

What player do you have betamaxman? The reason for the small fot is because that is the default wps for the archos players. So it seems very tiny on the archos players. This is supposed to be fixed on the next rockbox release (3.1). I think I am correct.
