Sure, that is normal.  However, the point remains that you can only really have that discussion if you have seen it on target, since it does look very different.  Any, it isn't a massive deal for me as if I were to use this theme, I would change it to have a better (for me) font size anyway.  Whatever happens it is better than the current default.

edit: made a completely new version for the h10 5gb

edit: I'll take care of the ipod mini port now.

edit: nearly done. however, the greys in the backdrop won't display correctly, even though I used the two shades that should work correctly. any idea what went wrong? 
edit: nevermind. we found out what went wrong.

I would a agree it is better than the default too.
I can pick around altering it till it is viewable.
Although I haven't gotten into making themes.

To any who may be interested I made some changes to the IPOD 5g Cabbie default 2.0 WPS. The below code ads two alternating lines below the time bar, original code then volume db and codex info at 4 second intervals. In addition, I removed the year from the current playing song to enable the use of a bigger font, helvB12-L1, and capitalized next song with multiple ":" on each side for better contrast from the track information.

Ok, iPod Mini theme is up. Now I only need to make some more unifont versions.

talos, imho the font size isn't bad at all when I resize a gigabeat screenshot to it's actual size.
