ONGOING DEFAULT THEME CONTEST!!!

Have we tried every possibility  to contact this person with the awesome rockbox log? Where was this logo talked about? (the one we officially cant use)

ZincAlloy: There is one thing that still needs fixing: the icon for the title of the main menu is still the unofficial one. Apart from that, I think it's really good with the new layout and the stylised official Rockbox logo.
If you post the original artwork I might even try making a Gigabeat version

looks great  . The only thing I can see that looks odd is the logo. I would try to keep some distinction between the 'rock' and the 'box' arts of the image (different shades of grey perhaps?) as well as the treble clef.

Why not just replace that one icon? Iconsets are merely a set of bmp files.

It depends entirely on what license the rest of the iconset are under. The images aren't loading, but I'm pretty sure you were either using Silk or Tango icons, both of which come under licenses that should allow us to redistribute them, if memory serves.

It's the 12x12x16 Tango set from the icon gallery.
The description says that the icons are "from the "Tango Desktop Project" (http://tango.freedesktop.org/) and from "Jakub Steiner" (http://jimmac.musichall.cz/)".

Well any icons directly from Tango can be reused as they're under a CC-by-SA license. The other link is to a contributor to Tango. I don't know which icons come just from his site, but if they aren't under a license that allows redistribution, the original creator of the iconset probably shouldn't have been able to use them unless he happens to be Jakub Steiner himself.

Included a customized (am I actually allowed to do this?...licensing is confusing...) version of tango 12x12x16.
I'm gonna load it up to the wiki now.
