IPOD Mini 2. generation & IDE HD
« on: April 19, 2007, 07:22:45 AM »
Hello !
My Ipod Hd (6GB) is crashed since a half year, after I see that the Ipod use an CF Port for the Microdrives, I thaugt wow ... I'm just need an CF to IDE adaptor to use my MINI with a normal IDE HD - after a few month i found in the Web a female CF to male IDE - I buy it in Prenzlauerberg Berlin.

I format the IDE HD, witch have 13G, into a 6 GB primary Partition

After I conect my IPod with the IDE HD on my PC and try to rewrite the ipod filestructure - it works - ITunes find the Pod an rewrite on it ...but when it is finished ITunes told me to do rewrite it again ... and so on.
I thaugt that the HD need a special formatingstructure isnt' ?
In generaly I want to Build a mini soundsystem with RockBox on the Pod and an IDE HD.
Waht kind of format does RockBox support ?

Perhaps you know how to make it ?

Pre thanks carlitoco-
