Battery % Display

my battery percentage display always jumps from 90% down to 69% without showing anything between 70-90%. is this related to battery bench at all?

Mad Cow:
The battery percentage calculating is way off on gigabeats. My F40 jumps from 99 to 90, then to around 70, then stays at 2-5 for a few hours.
