Rockbox kernel panic - defaulting to original firmware

Yes, I already got rid of rockbox, as my previous post stated. I tried this with 2 USB cables, both of which didn't work, and one of which is used regularly by a friend with his iPod. My iPod worked just fine the first time I hooked it up with Firewire. It's definitely the USB.
