"Error accessing playlist" and strange resume behaviour.
« on: June 09, 2012, 09:39:38 AM »
I swear, I did search the forum and Google for any topics like this, so please don't hate me if this has been covered.  Right now I'm on a Fuze v1, bootloader 2.0, release 3.11.2.  My Start Screen is set to Resume Playback, and I am shuffling a 175-song playlist.

My Fuze v1, Fuze v2 and Gigabeat F40 all do this, and I wonder if there is a simple solution.  It seems whenever I add music to a playlist that is currently playing, then save the playlist and power down within a few minutes, my player will auto-resume in some odd place and I find that the playlist has been reshuffled.  It seems to happen only after I have added/removed songs from the current playlist and then saved it.

This doesn't happen consistently, though, and I'm not sure what other variables I'm missing to figure it out.  I use my player every day, but it only does this once a week or so.  Often enough to be annoying, but not often enough that I'm ready for it when it happens.

Has anybody else experienced this?  Do I have my poor player confused with conflicting resume settings?

If these rings I run were lines, just imagine how much farther I would be.
