IAudio X5 no boot after adding a CF-Card

(1/1)

Frannz:
Hey Rockbox-Guys,
I had this problem, that my iAudio X5 was not shown as a storage device in windows, when plugged in via usb, funny thing was, that when plugged in via the usb-host slot at least Linux could find it... sometimes. i never found a solution for that. so i thaught, maybe its the harddrive and i bought an adapter to CF and a CF card. all build in correctly, but the problem still exists (exception: not even Linux would find the player, damn it).
But furthermore there is a new problem, since i set up a completely new disk and copied rockbox to the card via a card reader [ ;) ] i cannot boot rockbox, all it says is either ATA error -31 or, after a while of waiting ATA error -1.

is there anything i could do for my player?

Thank you,

Frannz
