My English not very good, but I hope you'll can understand me
Every morning I switch on my Sansa Clip+ and get blow to the ears (tympanic membranes).
It happened because after hearing music during all day hearing sensitivity decreases, but after sleeping sensitivity increases and last sound volume too loud for ears.Solution:
After pause in music playing (more than 30min, for example) and starting playing again - RockBox must save value of sound volume after 30sec after start playing (you have time to adjust the comfortable volume level after the music starts). Let this be a variable Volume1
When RockBox shutdown it saves current sound volume as Volume2
(It works this way and now).
Now, when RockBox starts to play music in morning - it will set sound volume equal Min(Volume1
). Every morning you start hearing the music with sound volume as yesterday morning (or evening if it was less). Problem is solved!
What do you think about it?
