Broke AFTER uninstalling... I'm desperate.

I installed Rockbox to give it a try, in general I liked it, but it really is just too technically difficult for me. So I uninstalled it manually, going in and physically deleted the .rockbox directory like the manual said. Shut my player down, turned it back on... The Rockbox main screen flashes at me constantly. The player won't power off, I had to take out the battery to get it to stop. There are NO rockbox files in the player anymore... Unless they're hidden somehow. I have absolutely no clue what to do now. I've tried turning it on a few more times with the same problem. Please help. x_x

The uninstallation instructions are in the manual.  You need to remove the bootloader as well.
