Well here's two important things to know.

1) Read the forum guidelines in the announcement forums. They're enforced which is why we made it clear during registration that they are.

2) Read the manual. This is actually in the guidelines, but it'll cover almost all of your questions.

I'm having a problem running pictureflow.  I am running an ipod video 80 gig with a 120 gb hard drive.  Anyhow I install rockbox and I build the database and I try to run picture flow, I then get a message "Not Enough Memory For album names"  followed by "plugin returned error".  I have gotten this running the daily builds as well as tdtookes build.  I have tried deleting the pictureflow directory under /.rockbox/rocks/demos.  I have my cover.bmp's in the right place.  Any ideas?  Thanks, JD

I am having the identical problem on my 80gb Ipod.  I have my covers in their respective album folders named cover.bmp.  I too deleted the directory in .rockbox.  I know that play is stopped (nothing to resume) because I get a different error message with play simply paused.  So how could there not be enough memory for album names?  What could be using memory from a stopped playback state?  Could it have something to do with the number of directories or files on the player, or size of the database or dircache?

Regards,
Brian

I'm having a problem with my Sansa e260 that I haven't seen on here just yet.  It loads the album art correctly, and looks to be rendering right, but I cannot scroll through any pictures.  Pressing the select key shows the track listing for the first album, and the Submenu button brings up the Settings options, but unfortunately neither the scroll wheel nor the next track/prev track buttons will move on to another album.

Brian,
Did you have any luck working this problem out?  No luck here...

JD,

No luck whatsoever.  I'm really at a loss on this.  Something else odd I've noticed in regards to this plugin is that once I try (unsuccessfully) to run it, it seems to cause weird behaviour on the player until I load my previous settings.  For instance, after trying to run pictureflow,  my ipod no longer shuts down like it used to (i.e. "shutting down..." appears).  I am forced to hold play for a longer period of time until eventually it just turns off like it does when you reset it (no shutdown message).  Once I load a config file from before I tried loading pictureflow the issue goes away.  odd.

Regards,
Brian
