Question: how to refresh screen if you don't know what screen you're on?
« on: August 24, 2007, 03:41:36 PM »
i'm working on a feature to auto-switch the current config based on which playing mode you're in -- i.e. if you plug the player into the car jack, then it should log the "car mode" config file.  But... i'm a little fuzzy on how to refresh the gui screen afterwards.  if i were in a particular piece of the code... like wps, then it's obvious.  but if i'm in the car mode detect function, then i don't know what gui list to use.

any way to find the current list, or refresh the screen without knowing the list?

the reason i ask, is that when i load a config file like this, the screen doesn't always redraw correctly.

thanks

I'd probably ask a coding question in IRC or on the developers mailing list.  Not an awful lot of the devs hang out here.
