my computer doesnt recognize the e250 after rockbox install

i just get my new player
first i installed rockbox
everything works fine
the dual boot is working

but my computer doesnt recognized the player when is rockbox
only when i boot it as the original

with rockbox i see the USB image on the player screen
but no new drive in my computer

what i need to do

The Sansa port of Rockbox doesn't have full USB support yet.

If you want to copy anything to your player, you have to boot into the original firmware and do it from there; just make sure your Sansa is configured to use MSC (USB Mass Storage) mode.

There's no definite timeline as to when USB support will be implimented in the Sansa port of Rockbox, so please be patient. Just use the above method for now.

USB support has been accepted as a Google Summer of Code project.

Until then you have to use the original firmware to transport files.
