Title: Compilation Problem
Post by: aw3se4dr5 on September 09, 2006, 07:01:35 AM
 >:( >:(
I am making a plugin that starts on boot and acts as a password lock. Every time I try to compile it, I get something like this:

make[2]: *** No rule to make target `powermgmt.c', needed by `/home/Owner/rockbox/build/apps/plugins
/autostart.o'.  Stop.
rm /home/Owner/rockbox/build/apps/plugins/credits.elf
make[1]: *** [rocks] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2

Am I overlooking something obvious, or did I do something wrong?

The only dependencies a plugin can have to functions in the Rockbox core is through the plugin function table (defined in plugin.h). I'm not sure exactly what you want to do, but perhaps you just need to add a function or two to plugin.h.

Try running 'make clean' before compiling.
