Would Rockbox read Loquendo voice? They have come up with enthusiastic virtual speakers, quite natural.

Player that uses a Rockbox firmware don't generates voices itself because it requires to many hardware resources. It's just not possible in such weak music players. Instead rockbox just reads a ready-to-play voices that stores usually in MP3 stream inside of archive. So just try to generate ready-to-play voices by using RockboxUtility (http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/RockboxUtility).

Good to know. I was convinced the rockbox voice that I managed to make work was synthesized.
Thank you.
