Title: Can't get ipod to show up as disk
Post by: aaaaa on May 19, 2014, 08:06:11 PM
I have an ipod touch, don't know what gen it is, only that the version is 2.2.1 (5H11)
I can't hard reset the device as the manual outlines--there's only two buttons--and it doesn't show up in disk utilities or the desktop, just on iTunes.
There is no option on iTunes to "enable use as disk" regardless of whether I set the device to automatically sync with the device or not.
I also get three "permission denied" errors when trying to install RockBox and cannot autodetect the device; the only location that shows up in the first drop down menu is the computer's HD, which is not selectable to it remains on a "/"
I am on an iMac v. 10.4.11

Rockbox does not run on the iPod Touch, only the devices listed on www.rockbox.org
