Title: Sound profiles ?
Post by: Atenza on May 04, 2014, 05:02:58 AM
Hi
First, great work I have used Rockbox for meny years and nothing does it better :D
Is it possible to make sound profiles, it is very annoying having to adjust sound settings every time I change the way I connect my mp3 player to different headphones, car amps, hifi and so on. It could be great if it was possible to have about 5 programmable sound profiles to choose between at the first point going in to sound settings. Look at kitkat profiles maybe something in that direction.

One thing you can do right now is make different .cfg files with the setting you need, and "play" those from the file browser

I list those .cfg files / profiles in the shortcut menu. That's very handy.
Like

[shortcut]
type: file
data: /.rockbox/S_Neutral.cfg
name: S_Neutral

[shortcut]
type: file
data: /.rockbox/S_E10.cfg
name: S_E10

[shortcut]
type: file
data: /.rockbox/S_PX100.cfg
name: S_PX100
