I've been using the latest dev builds everyday for iPod Nano 2G and still encountering "Swapped Channels" on Playback (e.g. Left Channel -> Right Headphone / Right Channel -> Left Headphone). I wonder is this really an "unfixable" bug on RockBox's part?
-
This was reported fixed long ago. What is the exact build you're running?
-
5785cfb-120625
I'll be upgrading to todays build.
err looks like there are still no new builds after this one.
-
I don't have my 2G anymore, so I can't test. Could you file a bug report (bugs link on the left side of your screen)?

thanks...

If this bug report is verified, then I've been listening to music with swapped channels for years and I didn't even notice. Or else, it's a problem with recent builds. (I'm still using one from 8th May, because at some point the git builds had a problem with playback, the player would hang when starting to play a new track)

First of all I want to say thanks for all the hard work you guys do,.. great music player firmware!!!
I can confirm the "Swapped Channels". I'm using the latest dev build: df9bd87 (2012-07-16T18:39:18)
I've tested it with channel tests, they play correct on my computer but RockBox's output is swapped :/

Can someone please fix this issue?
It's no problem while listening to music, but very annoying when watching video clips :-\

Here's a video sample: Bird vs. Alligator - Revolt (Binaural)

The video should start with sound from the left side (behind you)

Can someone please have a look at this? :-\
-
Have you added this to the bug report? Developers don't tend to read the forums.
-
pbcnx already submitted a bug report: http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/12708

Yes, and I was asking if you added your observations to it, which I see you did today.
