Title: Another Problem Running ./rockboxdev.sh
Post by: vig011 on September 10, 2011, 09:35:44 AM
I'm trying to download and run the arm-eabi compiler, however it seems like the mirror to the download the compiler is not up, this is the error I get below:

Is there something I'm not doing correctly? or is  'mirrors.kernel.org' not up?

vig@vig-M11x:~/rockbox/tools$ chmod +x rockboxdev.sh
vig@vig-M11x:~/rockbox/tools$ sudo ./rockboxdev.sh
Download directory : /tmp/rbdev-dl (set RBDEV_DOWNLOAD to change)
Install prefix     : /usr/local  (set RBDEV_PREFIX to change)
Build dir          : /tmp/rbdev-build (set RBDEV_BUILD to change)
Make options       :  (set MAKEFLAGS to change)

Select target arch:
s   - sh       (Archos models)
m   - m68k     (iriver h1x0/h3x0, iaudio m3/m5/x5 and mpio hd200)
e   - arm-eabi (ipods, iriver H10, Sansa, D2, Gigabeat, etc)
a   - arm      (older ARM toolchain, deprecated)
i   - mips     (Jz4740 and ATJ-based players)
separate multiple targets with spaces
(Example: "s m a" will build sh, m68k and arm)

kernel.org is down for maintenance (as you could have seen by visiting the site) the packages for binutls and gcc are available on other gnu mirrors.
