Title: Playlist Indices option
Post by: Job Van Dam on February 08, 2007, 04:35:00 PM
I'm not entirely sure this is the right option but I would like to turn off the numbers to the side of a playlist while viewing it.
I remember I once found the Playlist Indicies option somehow but have been unable to find it since then.

I searched every page of the manual (Gigabeat, Ipod Video & Archos Recorder V1) for the word "indices" & "playlist" but could only find "indices" on the Config file page (http://download.rockbox.org/manual/rockbox-gigabeatf/rockbox-buildap3.html#x15-210000C). Can I change it manually?

If someone can point me in the right direction I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Go to the playlist viewer and press the menu button there.

It's technically called the Playlist Viewer Menu (Show Indicies option) and the manual covers it in a very cursory way:

This forum topic gives a bit more info:

From WPS
Hold [Select] for context menu
Choose menu options Playlist>View Current Playlist
Press [A-B] for a menu with the following options:
 Â Show Icons
 Â Show Indicies
 Â Track Display
 Â Save Current Playlist

I thought there was another way to find it via the Main Menu structure, but I'm damned if I can find it now... I'm probably thinking of the Show Icons option.
