Title: FM Radio on iRiver H320 in today's build?
Post by: NeilW on November 15, 2006, 09:11:08 AM
I've just upgraded to today's build (from one dating from mid-September) and the FM radio doesn't seem to work. I haven't tried any intermediate builds between September and today.

On my previous build and the iRiver F/W it works/worked fine.

It looks like its receiving radio (Stereo detected) but the audio isn't being routed correctly. I just get silence.

Has anyone else noticed it? Or has something gone wrong with today's installation?

Neil.

I have the same problem on H120. It seems that the codec chip is not initialized properly.

But I have a workaround ;D Hopefully it will work on H300s too. Enter the recording screen with source set to radio while the radio is playing (long press Navi, Recording screen) then the radio should work until you reboot Rockbox.

Edit: There is the bug report FS#6330 (http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/6330) on the tracker already.

FWIW, it still works in 2006-11-13, but no longer in 2006-11-14.

I believe it's fixed in today's (2006-11-16) build
