My quest for ROCKbox domination continues :)
The theme is available on the iPod 5G Video WPS gallery (http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/WpsIpod5g) pages of the wiki.
Please try out the theme and let me know what you think. I'm particularly interested in testing the progress bar and volume icons.
Does the progress bar fill the outline at the end of a song? I was having some difficulties while testing this with the uisimulator.
The inspiration for the theme is the Rockbox logo. Comments are appreciated.
I do have plans to add more information into the theme. Requests so far:

ROCKboxed, version 1.0
Icons along bottom: volume, shuffle, repeat A-B, play, and battery level.
Other screenshots (http://www.horning.us/Members/Roan/docs/rockbock/wps/ROCKboxed_screenshots/) can be found on my personal website.

The bottom icons look really pixelated in comparison to the other versions of the theme.
Keep ROCKing on!

The one thing that I don't like is that you switch off the status bar in the theme. As far as I am concerned, status bar in the browser is personal preference and, since the introduction of the tag to switch it off in the WPS, the control of the global status bar setting has no place in a theme config...
Other than that, looks fine ;)

if that's your only problem ^^ go into the themes folder open the ROCKboxed.cfg file and delete the line statusbar: off
or change it to statusbar: on
i like the theme...it's simple....but i always play around in the .cfg file so the menu looks like in the julius themes....centered scrolling etc.

Hi BigMac, have you had a chance to use them on an iPod Video, or are you refering to the screenshot? I'm using the same icons for each theme. I just copy them to new folders, change the ROCKboxed.wps file and then zip them up.

Hi RedBreva, I'm debating removing the statusbar config line. The only complaints I've had so far have been about this choice :)
Being 2-3 months new to Rockbox, and doing what most people seem to do when creating their first theme, I dove right in and started messing around without looking too deeply into the history or general guidelines of theme creation. I took the meaning of theme to be the overall look of the system, both menu/file screens and the WPS screen. I spend 99% of my time looking at the WPS screen, so when I am using a menu or browsing the dirtory structure, I don't need that information. Also visually I just don't like the default statsbar. I realize that it's design has multiple constraints, and I appreciate its design within those contraints, but for this theme I preferred turn it off.
Thanks for your comments and compliment. You also rYugen!

Hallo JustJohnny,
First of all I want to say that I like your work. In general I like sleek and simple designs. However I have a simple recommendation to make for your wps: Use a bigger font for 320x240 and 240x320 versions. Nimbus-14 is not big enough for these screens. Why not use Nimbus-19 instead? It will make the wps look more solid and not so empty as it is now. Also, notice that this will make the wps more readable on these screens since the size of them is not relatively big as their resolution. I don't have an iPod Video myself (soon I'm going to have a Gigabeat though :)) but I bet that Nimbus-14 is a bit small for this screen.

I actually use 6x12-13 on my screen on the Gigabeat and it's not altogether terribly small, but for a WPS like this, where there's a rather minimal amount of information, upping to Nimbus-19 is probably a good idea.
