Title: AGC (Automatic Gain Control) on Sansa Clip+, cannot compile.
Post by: xiang on June 04, 2013, 11:13:23 AM
Hello, i tried to compile my own Rockbox version with #define HAVE_AGC to enable AGC on my Sansa Clip+, but i wasn't able to succeed. I want to ask if somebody (who has better knowledge than me in compiling Rockbox) can maybe compile a Rockbox version (ideally version 3.13) with #define HAVE_AGC for me. I would a appreciate it very much, thanks.

Why doesn't it compile?  If its simply not implemented you may need to wait a long while before someone implements it.  If its something trivial maybe it can be fixed.

After trying a bit, i found out that the problem had something to do with my linux distribution. Now it compiles fine with AGC and i can confirm that AGC works fine, at least as good as in the Official/Original Firmware. Finally, no more switching to the OF because of AGC and manually compressing the WAV files to MP3, when i'm recording/archiving lectures. It now works on the fly in Rockbox. Thanks for your support and thanks for developing Rockbox!
