Title: voice file and talk file creation problem using SAPI5 and Rockbox Utility.
Post by: jnoseworthy on January 12, 2009, 09:33:42 AM
Hi Gang:

Does anyone know of a way to prevent the chopping off of syllables in the creation of both voice file and talk files using SAPI5 and the Rockbox Utility program?

The same  problem occurs when using VoiceBox to create talk files.

A resolution to this problem would sure be appreciated all over the place.

Thanks.

As far as i know, the official voice files and all voice files generated by the buildsystem, dont get chopped off syllables.
So the easy way would be to generated your voice file with the buildsystem. (unfortunalty no solution for talkfiles).
The better way ofcourse would be, to research what is different between voicefiles from the buildsystem and from rbutil, and fix it :-)
