If you're using an iflash adapter, I think that is normal. The 5g works better, but they're not super compatible.

It doesnt happen in disk mode or apple FW so its definitly an issue with rockbox

Yeah, that is what I mean. Those adapters aren't really compatible with rockbox.

is there a way i can have it automaticly boot into disk mode with rockbox?

And put a bounty on getting the bug fixed for everyone? These iflash devices are simply amaizig and i cant imagine not using it

If you found someone interested in working on this, you could pay them, but since these are custom hardware devices that relatively few people own, and embedded programmers get paid a lot, you probably won't have much luck. There were hacks a lot time ago for rebooting on USB insertion back when the iPods didn't have USB. I'm not sure if they still work though.
