The short answer is yes.  I'll begin (restart) calibrating interest on the other relevant forums.  I'm presently immersed in the daniel.haxx blog (http://daniel.haxx.se/blog/2008/01/14/what-can-i-do-for-rockbox-when-not-programming/) links as well as educating myself re programming.  I'm a doctor, just the wrong kind (MD).  Should be a valid contributor by end of August 2008.
