Title: Gigabeat F60/Panic after Car Adapter Mode Playback Resumes.
Post by: Nate! on May 16, 2007, 07:56:16 PM
20070421 Official Bootloader/Official build r13399
I believe I've noticed this since 13396 or a few days ago.

Reset all settings using and the Rockbox_Default theme, only thing set is the Car Adaptor Mode = Yes.

Plugged into the Dock or with just a power adapter (car power adaptor or factory AC adaptor.) Playback is normal.

Unplug from power source. Playback pauses.

Plug back into power source.  Receive: *Panic* stkov
Â  Press a button and the player shuts off instantly.

Powering back on is another probematic process described here:
Strange "Partial" Power On Behavior for Gigabeat F60

I don't know if the two issues are related.

Is anyone else experiencing this/these issues?  Seems I've ducked the crazy issues many have had with the Gigabeats for two years now.  I guess it's my turn.  Thanks in advanced.

I've come to a work around.  Simple actually, just not use Car Adaptor Mode and/or Power down.  If I forget, resume playback, and receive the Panic error, just tap a button to shutdown instantly.  Then I switch the battery off and on and Power back on.  I don't get the Partial Power On behavior.

I'm having the same problem, but would really like to have the car adaptor mode avalible. I use to use it all the time with my Archos Recorder.

If someone can take a look at this issue I'd really apreciate it.
