hi
i have a sansaclip+ and the worst issues with my bookmarking.
first, bookmarking inside dynamik playlists doesnt work. why please?
second, i allways get a Error Accessing Playlist File... when trying to save a playlist so that i can make bookmarks..
dont know what to do with that error.
third: cant create bookmarks inside database playlists.. also not good!!!!(
i most respectfully want to suggest to rethink the rockbox playlist concept and make it much more simple:
to save the name of that track you just hear and want to remember for later
saving play-speed inside a bookmark is a very nice feature and saving all the additional infos too
BUT its not worth if creating bookmarks gets generally complicated by this
the most importend thing is to be able to create a reference bookmark to remember the track you just heard
thats the essential point of bookmarks, to do that in any user-player-situation
get rockbox into making bookmarks out of any playing case (direktory, database, dynamic playlist - just any situation) to refind/remember a played song - thats what bookmarks are good for most - to save the name of that track you like
dont want to create and save playlists for to do that - the remember that track feature must work effortless anyhow!! seriously !(
PLeASEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!)
may get rid of the extra bookmarksfeatures if neccesary for this or leave them anyway the way they ..am not a developer
big please, even bigger PEACE

noone no opinion to that. i cant belive so :(

I never remember, in which cases a bookmark can be saved and end up looking desperately for the bookmark setting in the context menu of the WPS. So I think a bookmark feature that saves bookmarks in every usecase would be great, but I don't know if there are technical limitations that prevent this.

For me bookmarking in a dynamic playlist is a contradiction in itself.

there is no contradiction in simplisity
can someone do this please, or are there technical issues ??
how about a voting for or against,.. if its technicaly possible!)
what do developers say/think about it??

For me bookmarking in a dynamic playlist is a contradiction in itself.
Have only just arrived at this party. I run an ongoing playlist to which I keep adding more tracks as and when to cover my next run or walk but this automatically changes me from the bookmarkable saved playlist to an unbookmarkable dynamic playlist which I then need to faff around resaving as my ongoing playlist and manually restarting playback from the next track. Do not see the contradiction in doing that. It may not be the way you choose what to play but I am sure I am not alone in wanting to do it that way? Unless there is another way of doing what I want more easily without faff?
(note that I usually play other saved playlists in between times so Resume is not an option as it is no longer pointing at the ongoing playlist)
