Title: iPod shows as rockbox media player not as drive letter
Post by: Rogerbarsby on September 19, 2018, 04:23:46 AM
iPod video with flash quad. When I first install rockbox the iPod shows correctly as drive f:, however once I start adding any number of music files the iPod drops the drive letter and instead morphs into Rockbox media player - with no drive letter and it doesn’t show up in windows explorer (I know it’s changed to media player as that’s what it’s now called when I go to eject the drive).  Any ideas how I stop it doing this?

Are you by any chance using rockbox mode when syncing tracks?  Not a good idea.

Sorry new to this. What’s rockbox mode and how do I change it?
