Title: sd card not recognized
Post by: Jean on March 22, 2016, 01:26:07 PM
Hi,
I have a new sansa clip zip, just rockboxed, that won't recognize the 64 gb sd card i prepared for it. It recognizes another card fine, and the 64 gb is als recognized by fine by windows.
What are my options?

The sd card needs to be formatted as FAT32. If you are using Windows you will need to use a 3rd party utility to do this as native Windows won't allow you to format as FAT32 anything greater than 32gb. A suitable utility is Fat32guiformat, which you can find with Google.

Thank you! Reformatting did the trick, the card is readable now.
