Title: Quickscreen: more posibilities.
Post by: sadur on September 03, 2009, 06:56:12 AM
Hi.

I love the quickscreen menu. I use it to change Replaygain type, Crossfade type, Crossfeed on/off, and since the 4th item, EQ enable on/off.

I'll like to be able to assign more settings and other types of options, like cfg files.

I mean, I'll like to assign different cfg files to change rapidly from one set of settings to another, ie. one cfg with the volume, eq and crossfeed adequate for listening in the car, another cfg with the same settings with other values to listen with headphones, etc.

I know, if that would be possible, it will behave different from the actual settings because you could select the cfg file, but not cycle trough a set of them (this is another possibility, assign different cfg files to one item in Quickscreen, and cycle trough them).

What do you think about that?

Sadur.

Its been requested a few times (and something I'd like to eventually do), but there is a fair amount of work to hav configs in the QS so noone has done it yet...

I haven't tried this, but, what if you put a number of .cfg files in a Folder and then put a Shortcut to that Folder in a Quickscreen position?  Just a thought.

Oh! really? I had tried to put the cfg files directly, but not a shortcut file. Well, I think this covers my requirements.
Thanks!

well, could be this more easy to implement than directly the cfg files?
