Title: volume on sony NW-A30
Post by: bizio64 on May 27, 2018, 07:53:08 AM
Hello, sorry about my very bad English, only one question:

My walkman NW-A30 is:

Model: NW-A35
Series: NW-A30 Series
Destination: CEW2 (103)
Sound pressure: 0 (off)

My impression is that the volume is the same low.
Not very low, but as an impression that it can be more.
Do you have any idea if you can increase? or the hardware and firmware do not allow this?

Thanks so much
Fabrizio from Italy

Fabrizio you have to find on the Sony website the firmware for Latin America,
install this one and then do the remove limit procedure

I remember that mine worked up to 15 days ago.
Now I'm using the original aptx bluetooth software.

Hello and thanks for the reply....
if I understood correctly I should install the firmware for Latin America
and to have a greater sound pressure set it to 0, with "scsitool-nwz-v19.exe H: dest_tool set MX off"
I wonder if the Media Go application allows this or if by default it recognizes the European version
I'll try, thank you

For me it worked, know that you have to reinstall rockbox

[You need to reset the settings on the device to get the modification applied]

If you want it, USA Foobar2000 makes mediago look like a joke.
Goodbye.
