Title: ePub reader.

There should be a plug-in that lets you read epub files (like the text viewer).

...It would be nice.

I doubt anyone would ever use it. Reading on a DAP is surely not an enjoyable experience. Thats what my Kindle is for.

A plugin like this would only make sense on targets with a large screen (iPod Video, Cowon D2?). The target with largest screen we have is Rockbox for Android, and plugins don't make sense on that target (Android has much more applications that do their own things better than any Rockbox plugin would do).

That's for end users to decide. If someone indeed wrote such a plugin, and someone found use for it, then bully for them.

Personally, for a couple of targets with either portrait oriented screens (e.g. the Gigabeats, the Fuze+) or high resolution screens (e.g. anything 32x240 or above), it would be a nice perk, especially if you're the type of person who likes travelling light.
