Title: {Solved}Importing a movie.
Post by: comedycrazy6 on September 01, 2008, 04:53:51 PM
Hey all! I've installed Rockbox onto my Ipod Nano 1g first gen.

Does anyone know how to put a movie on?

I know how to import songs, just not a movie.
The movie shows up by the songs, but when I click on it.. It doesn't play it?

There's information about using Mpegplayer here (http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/PluginMpegplayer).

Title: Inserting a movie on a nano first gen.

Hi all!
I have a black nano 1g first gen and I was wondering, how do I import a movie on this?
I've tried dragging it... and I poen up rockbox, and choose Files>and then I choose the name of he movie at the bottom, (with a musical note logo) and it doesn't play.. It automatically plays the next song.?

What am I doing wrong?

You'll need to encode your videos to the appropriate format.  Follow the instructions here:
http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/PluginMpegplayer

Edit:  I merged your two threads.  Please do not start multiple threads on the same topic.

If you want additional help, you are going to need to explain what part of the instructions that LambdaCalculus (and I) linked you to that you are having trouble with.
