I got the latest version of the Rockbox Utility but it refuses to start up giving an "application failed to start because mingwm10.dll was not found" error.
I have Windows XP SP3.

I've opened a Flyspray task for this issue:

:(
Putting the dll its missing into the same folder as the binary should solve this. See the mentioned FS task. This is an issue with how Qt itself has been built when creating the binary. I'll try to provide an updated binary as soon as possible, but this isn't likely to happen until next year.

I had the same error, in WinXP(sp2); downloaded a copy of mingwm10.dll from www.dll-files.com, and copied it to my windows/system32 folder, and Rockbox worked afterward.

When I try to start rbutilqt.exe v1.0.8 I get this error:
"This application has failed to start because mingwm10.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."
I can run v1.0.6 and 1.0.7b.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

I've merged your thread with the existing thread on this issue (and moved the existing thread from the Sansa installation forum to the Rockbox General Forum since it is of interest to all who use RBUtil under Windows).
