Title: sansa clip zip 4GB

I use such a sansa with 32GB chip, but am constrained by the limitations of number of songs.

Does it work for windows7 64 bits?

I tried to use the automated installer tool for windows, but could only find a 32 bit version, not a 64 bits.

Why wouldn't it? did you get an error when you tried?

I got scared, when the rockbox utility (v1.3.0) could not automatically detect the sansa and gave me:"A problem caused the program to stop"

But, after your reassurances, I manually pointed to the sansa clip zip, and it worked fine.

Again, thanks a million, now I can use the full 32GB.
