Hello...
Yes you can say i'm a noob... but i want help...
I want upgrade my ipod with a newest apple firmaware... but my ipod have allready installed rockbox wich works really good :-).... i buyed a icamera connector and doesnt work so good with my apple firmware... the people from ipod said that i must upgrade that...
How must i do? if i do this i loss rockbox?
Please help me :-)

I think you will just lose the rockbox boot loader and will require the first stage of installation again

I may be wrong, but, I am pretty sure you may be able to extract the
firmware from the Apple ipod updater, and then just use that firmware
and install the rockbox bootloader again, without having to use the
Apple utility.
The instructions are at the same location of the installation instructions,

And if you look under section c.2, You'll notice it mentions something about
extracting the apple firmware from the iPod Update utility using
IpodWizard, at http://www.ipodwizard.net/ (http://www.ipodwizard.net/).
Then you should just be able to reinstall the bootloader, using the same
instructions, with instead the new extracted firmware.

i had a similar problem i uninstalled rockbox upgraded apple os and then reinstalled rockbox worked fine for me but might not be nessecary if wot sharpe says is true
