Title: Sansa Clip+ freezes at "Refreshing your media" screen
Post by: Norahm on September 18, 2010, 09:26:15 AM
hi,
i think i've broken the filesystem of my clip+ and now it can't boot in the original firmware anymore because it freezes at the "Refreshing your media" screen. i've already read the hint in the wiki that i should plug and unplug the usb during the boot process to bypass the screen and format the disk out of the original firmware, but this trick doesn't bypass the screen for me. is there another workaround or could i have made a little mistake which could possibly be the reason why the plug-unplug trick didn't work?

If the OF doesn't work you should ask on Sandisk forums

I have this exact same problem on my Clip+ !! Is there any solution ?

Norahm, did you brick you player by trying to load an 8-gig microSDHC card ? Jusk asking because it's my case. Did you ask for help on the Sandisk forums ? If you did, please post the link to your thread here.
