Hi all.
I've successfully installed rockbox in my nano 2g and dual boot is working too.
I still have a question as I don't understand:
If I boot original firmware, I see some mp3 folders, but if I boot rockbox, I see different folders and have no access to mp3 files I loaded using itunes.
Why does this happen?
Is there a "dual storage" too?
Is full capacity shared betheen both storages?
Can I have my mp3 played from both firmwares?
Thanks!

iTunes uses obscure storage pattern. Ask google about this. No one implemented iTunes database support in rockbox AFAIK.

Thanks, wodz
So even if itunes storage cannot be read, is it vissible somehow in the file system? Not as storage but as database, file or whatever.
I can't see how storage is shared between ipod and rockbox firmware.
Right now, I'm googling some more info.

The rockbox database should be able to find the itunes tracks.

Yep, I was reading lights0ut's posts and it works fine, I didn't understand about ipod_contro hidden folder, now I understand how it works.
Thanks very much.

We have a FAQ and it does have an entry about this.
