Title: Menus centred permanently
Post by: vocrobot on February 15, 2010, 05:55:51 AM
I have just installed some new themes on my iPod. I think it was Widescreen that caused it because when it loads the menu is is centred rather than left justified. Now when I load any other theme it also comes up with the menu centred and not to the left as it should be normally.

How do I get the menu to go back to the way it was. I have tried all the base-skin options and none of those move it back to the left. This happened last week and the only way I could fix it was to reset all settings which was a pain. Is there any other way of fixing this?

PS I have tried Free-State; it has the same effect and I can't get the menus to appear as normal again when goinb back to another theme.

check the file /.rockbox/config.cfg (its a plain text file) and remove any line that says "ui viewport:" or "statusbar: custom"

You can put the attached file in your .rockbox folder and execute it [edit: ] before loading themes that do not use SBS, after loading a theme that did use SBS
(you can edit it according to your needs)

If it's any help I found out today that if you select the Cabbie2 theme that also puts everything back the way it should be.
