I used to save the cover in tag and it can be showed in 3.7.1
but i upgrade to 3.8 yesterday and found it can't be showed any more
I used ipv(5.5gen)
What's wrong? Can it be fixed?
Thanks

3.8 certainly does support embedded album art, but...3.7/.1 never did.
I suspect you either have the revision incorrect, or you have album art in your music directories that you don't know about (which can happen easily depending on what media player you use).

???
I'm sure I hadn't put it in the directories, I used itunes add embedded album art
But 3.8really doesn't show it...

Well, that does indeed sound like a genuine bug.
While not wanting to rub it in, I feel I should add that support for embedded album art was added on the 9th of February this year (2011), and 3.7 was released on the 30th of October last year (2010), so it's literally impossible for you to have been displaying embedded art at that time.
Reading the manual might help uncover what is going wrong with your album art, supported images and their locations, and the order of preference in which they will be displayed are listed in detail in the manual for your device.

What format are your files? Embedded album art is only supported in MP3s. Also, what format are the images?
-
I found that embedded album art in aac(.m4a) was supported in 3.7.1 (I recently became a user of RB, most of my songs are m4a)
but in 3.8 it seems unsupported
Now only embedded album art in .mp3 can be showed
-
It was never supported in M4A. You are mistaken.
-
It seems I'm mistaken...
I've formatted my ipv. There is no way of confirming what I put in the directories
Sorry for bothering
Hope supporting m4a!

Embedded album art has never been in any release before 3.8.
Embedded album art has only ever supported MP3.
