Hi all,
here is a brand-spanking-new 20 GB Iriver H320 which I located in the local - German - Kaufhof store. It comes with a copy of the receipt dated 4/1/2008 just in case you should need to take Iriver up on their warranty (whatever it may be in your country). Also inlcuded is the original packaging, leather case with belt clip, manual, software CD, wall-plug, ear-buds, cables (USB, USB Host, line-in).
The device came with a vey early firmware version which I updated to 1.29EU - that shouls be the video-able version. I was a little sceptic what all this lying around might have done to the battery so I fully charged it and ran a directory of 128kbps files until it fainted ;-) I repeated that once and the H320 ran for all of 15:33 under these conditions. That is about the duration Iriver originally claims, so the battery seems to be absolutely fit.
The display is absolutely flawless. The casing has two or three minor scratches, say about 4 mm long. You will only notice these if you hold the device slightly askew against a strong light. I tried to capture them on photo, but they did not come across as they are so slight. I can only assume, that the H320 was unpacked for a prospective buyer to try. All the plastic wrappers still look factory sealed to me, so I doubt it was sold and returned.
