I synced the Histogram patch to the current CVS. It works fine for me, but won't work together with the Peakmeter Margins and Height patch

I just went through a rollercoaster of emotions following the patching guide, and was able to build myself a base version of the current cvs code for my ihp-100 (H110, etc). I did all this so that I could patch the histogram into a recent version of Rockbox.

However the patch failed using p1... do you know if Aug 22 is the latest version of code that this patch can be applied against?

Sorry to resurrect this thread but it is the most applicable I think. I sure hope this patch hasn't been forgotten about because it is very useful for us recording nuts! I see that the h120 has been modified (in the recording enhancements thread) up to sept 9th, but I need this patched for my h110 which no one seems to be doing :-(

THanks for any tips... In the meantime I am going to try to patch against aug 22 next and see how it goes...

edit: I can't find the old versions of source code. Can anyone point me in the right direction? THanks again...

edit2: I downloaded the aug22 code from cvs using info from this thread:

and Paul's sync'd patch file (http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/?getfile=12220) from the tracker page (http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/5021) and it worked I was an idiot at first and was using the original patch file posted to the tracker, but all is well now.

and if anyone cares, I posted my patched aug22 firmware for ihp-100 here (http://burak.ca/downloads/rockbox.zip).

Paul, do you happen to know what the newest cvs date is that will work with your sync'd patch?

Man... I am getting a lot of freeze-ups with this build when I use the buttons on the remote. I need to find the most stable one that accespts this patch. Any ideas? I suppose I'll just start applying the patch to newer builds until it stops working..
