Title: The controls of my iPod wont let me beat Zelda :(
Post by: taki101 on July 08, 2008, 04:58:53 AM
I was addicted to playing Zelda: Oracle of Ages on my iPod until I got to level 3 and couldnt aim my seedshooter on an angle.  Has anyone gotten around this problem?  I dont want to have to do everything again on my gameboy just to keep playing...

I guess I'll just have to start playing a different game :(

This is basically going to boil down to : Your ipod is designed to play music, it's not designed to play games on.

It *can* be used to play games on, but that doesn't mean it's the ideal place to do it.

I used to play Zelda on my iPod and I think that I was able to aim the seed shooter at an angle. I think you just have to hold down two directions at once.

wait, the oracle games work on the i-pod?  I tried them on the sansa but they freeze on start-up.  I assumed it was just a problem with rockboy in general.

I haven't tried the Oracle games on my Sansa (a c250), but on my Palm they seem to lock up near the title screen unless sound emulation is on. After you create/load a file (or if you load a save state, of course), you can turn off the sound.
