Title: Sanas Fuze V1 interface flipped (as in a mirror)
Post by: poboxy on May 10, 2010, 03:29:33 AM
Hi,

I didn't know where to put this post so I ended up choosing the hardware forum even if I am not sure if it's hardware related, anyway here goes.

I have a Sansa Fuze V1, I had the 3.5.1 release installed and everything was perfect. Yesterday I have put some podcasts in it, disconnected it from the PC and turned it off. This morning I turned it on and a weird thing happened, the screen goes blue (a clear blue, the rockbox logo shows for a glimpse then disappears in a blue screen, sometimes it doesn't show at all).

The screen being always blue the last bookmarked podcast (I set it to bookmark at close and restart at start) started as normal but the screen is always blue; After some seconds the play screen appears but flipped as in a mirror, with a little shit to the left, everything works fine like that but I have to use a mirror so I won't get insane :).

I restarted multiple times, deleted the config file, reinstalled rockbox, uninstalled the whole thing (rockbox and bootloader) with the rockbox utility, reinstalled it, tried the archived build and the current build all to no avail at all.

Now I use the sansa firmware to listen to my stuff, but I really want to go back to rockbox. So if anyone has any kind solution to this problem, I'm all ears.

Thank you all.

EDIT: Well it seems no one has an answer for me, maybe I wasn't very clear in the description of my problem. Anyway had to uninstall RockBox as it is useless to me as it is.   :'(

Have you tried a later version of RB?
