Title: ZXBox custom keymap
Post by: ppihus on May 11, 2008, 05:03:32 AM
Hi!
My favourite childhood game on ZX Spectrum was "Jumping Jack" http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseekid.cgi?id=0002658
Unfortunately it uses quite odd controls:
Quote
Left  - SYMBOL SHIFT
Right - BREAK SPACE
Jump  - CAPS SHIFT
Pause - Z
It seems to be that any blank space is the "Right - Break space" key, but I cannot find any others.
Is there any way to still play this game with ipod video?

mmm ... ZXBox's keyboard *really* needs rework ... though for now i can put some more buttons to that simple vkeyboard (just like upper 'E' is for 'Enter') ...
Edit: here you go http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/8991

I use ZXBox on D2 unfortunately whole controls are assigned to touch screen thus it's impossible to push two buttons together. It limits controls in so many games. But D2 also has 3 tactile buttons at the top vol+ menu vol- and from my experience with Rockboy it's possible to press them together with touchscreen (works good in so many platform games). Is it possible to use these buttons with ZXBox anyway?
