Hello all,
On behalf of the Rockbox developers, I'm very pleased to announce that Rockbox 3.10 has just been released!
This release marks the tenth anniversary of the Rockbox project. We can trace the origins of the project back to the first mail, posted this very day exactly ten years ago.
Go here to download the installer (individual zips are also available):
http://www.rockbox.org/download/ (http://www.rockbox.org/download/)
Read up on the most noticeable changes in 3.10:
http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/ReleaseNotes310 (http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/ReleaseNotes310)
And above all, enjoy!
Frank
P.S. As usual it may take a little while for the download mirrors to catch up, so if you have any problems with the download, please give the builds a while to propagate first.

Happy Birthday and thank you!
For me it's been iPod Video -> Cowon X5L -> Android (Samsung SGP 5.0) -> Clip Zip
All still in use and Rockbox'ed!
Laissez les bons temps rouler!!!

congratulations :)
happy birthday !!!

Well... I've been using Rockbox for a year and a half, so I missed 8.5 years of great Rockboxing. Congratulations!
-
Thank you for this new release and happy birthday Rockbox ! I would have liked the birthday cake on the boot logo, though ;D
Just a question, I don't understand these new functionnalities : the audio mixer and the lists "drawn using the skin engine" ... What possibilities do they give ?

The audio mixer fixes some long-standing issues with voice not working while paused.
The lists drawn using the skin enine as such doesn't change much, but the changes to the skin engine that made this possible allow theme authors much more customisation of the way lists look.

Congrats guys! I've been using Rockbox since I had my old Archos Jukebox Recorder v1, and now I will not buy an mp3 player unless it is Rockbox capable. Currently using the Sansa Clip+. As a legally blind user, the speech is wonderful, and I can feel safe on the subway manipulating my player without having to look at it. Happy Aniversary. Here's to 10 more years! (raises glass) ;D ;D ;D

Hello everybody.
I've got Sandisk Sansa clip+ player and I use Rockbox 3.10 version (stable).
In this version was added option "USB Hide Internal Drive", but I can't see it (there is no option in menu).
Unfortunately computers can't see it like USB mass storage and I can't copy files to sansa.
Is there any option (except boot on OF) to access drive?
Regards,
arokub

Theres no USB driver in 3.10 for the Clip+, so USB related options are not available.

Thanks for the answer.
If I understand good, it means that it isn't possible to copy files while Rockbox is active?

My Clip+ has a working USB mode. When I plug it into a USB port when RB is running the +'s screen goes blank and then shows a large USB plug icon. Transfers work.

You're not running 3.10 then

I'm running the current Beta build. Update it weekly.

In other words, you are not running 3.10. ;)
