Hello all,
On behalf of the Rockbox developers, I'm very pleased to announce that
Rockbox 3.7 has just been released!
Go here to download the installer (individual zips are also available):
http://www.rockbox.org/download/
Read up on the most noticable changes in 3.7:
http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/ReleaseNotes37
And above all, enjoy!
Alex
P.S. As usual it may take a little while for the download mirrors to catch up, so if you have any problems with the download, please give the builds a while to propagate first.

Hey,
does this mean the Ipod Nano 2G is capable of recording, now as it is elevated to "stable" ?
Apologies if it is not in the right section of the forum.
My Frankenstein Velleman/Iriver H10 5 is still reliably kicking ass on Version 3.6!
Is there anywhere that we can read about the minute details of this new release?
Thanks anyway for this superb easy to use software!

Heres a description of what the target classifications mean:

Aside from the release notes in the post above yours, the SVN logs are your best bet.

Ok, thanks Saratoga,
will have a dig!

That is good that we have a new version but I think that it is a pity the key mapping of Sansa Clip+ was not finalized before promoting Clip+ stable.
What is most impractical is the inconsistency of controls between WPS and Radio screen. Namely behaviour of these buttons is different: Power, Home, Play, Select, Submenu. I understand that the mentioned screens have different requirements but I think the buttons should behave the same when it is possible.

Submit a patch and it can be included for current builds and it will be part of the next release.
Either test this patch (http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/11605) and get it committed or submit one of your own to that task.

Chronon, I do not care much about releases. I just wanted to say that new Rockbox users could come after promoting Rockbox stable on Clip+ and their first-time experience could be lowered by the complicated/inconsistent key map. I am using Clip+ just for a short time and I did not expect that it would move to stable now.
I am currently testing the patch of Confuseling. Unfortunately I must say that it does not make the consistency better (in some places it is better in other worse) but this could be result of the unfinished state of the patch. Furthermore I think that some changes go too far from the original key map whose substance I like. I hope I will report more details to Confuseling soon.
